Several mobile phone news web sites (like sefanatics) have started reporting that Sony Ericsson are about to release a fully featured cybershot mobile phone that will be the first in their range to be waterproof.

If the rumours are true this definitly seems like a logical decision to me as the feature lacking JCB Tough mobile phone has been somewhat of a surprise success with the UK mobile phone buying public, consistently outselling other fancier more fragile phones on this web site over the last few weeks and this success surely must have been noticed by the big companies.l

A feature packed, Sony Ericsson phone that is easy to use AND can be dropped in the odd beer or go through the wash would certainly go straight to the top of my list of next phones to consider and reduce my insurance premiums at the same time too
